  • Foundation Scholarships

LaGuardia Community College Foundation Scholarships are made possible by contributions from generous donors who believe that deserving students like you should have a quality education without the financial burden. The Foundation has a number of scholarships available ranging from $500 to $4,200 to assist you with the rising cost of tuition, textbooks and fees associated with attending college. Emergency funding is also available to students who have an unexpected, short-term hardship.

Scholarships are awarded based on financial need, academic performance, community service, and extracurricular activities. Scholarship applications are accepted on a rolling basis, so students needing financial assistance are encouraged to apply.
